Hello, my name is Samantha and I’m trying to raise money for my good friend Rose and her son, Brayden. Rose and Brayden just lost their long time partner/father, John to pancreatic cancer.

If you’re lucky enough in this lifetime, a family will stumble into yours, and you will just click. That is exactly what happened with John, Rose and Brayden.

My son met his best friend in Kindergarten and my husband met his at the same time.

I will never understand why God chose John, and I will always be angry, but I can honestly look back on our hundreds of memories and thank god we had a friend like this. John was a one of a kind man, who would have taken the shirt off of his back for anyone with no questions asked. I will miss chatting about the Mets with him terribly. We will miss him everyday, forever.

They have a rough road ahead and anything helps.
