John Reilley Memorial Fund

John fell in love with Laura the moment he saw her singing along to Mr. Green Jeans at Mother's Ale House. Over the years their love for each other deepened and then multiplied with the blessing of their girls. John's mission in life was to take care of Laura and provide a secure future for the girls. This included the girls attending a 4 year college since he maintained a full-time job while earning his degrees. He worked hard to invest in the girls' college fund and promised each of them he would take care of the first 3 years but they were responsible for the 4th. John, being someone who prided himself on working hard for the life he built for his family, wanted to instill those same values in his girls. Unfortunately, cancer robbed him of the ability to see this through.

Labor Day weekend of 2022 John was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. He was determined to kick cancer's ass and come out a winner. Even when he was fighting for his life his focus was not on himself but on ensuring Laura and the girls were happy and living life to the absolute fullest. John endured countless complications and setbacks but never gave up hope or stopped making the people around him smile and laugh. His hope and love for Laura and the girls gave him the strength to try another round of chemo. On July 3rd after returning home from chemo he encountered complications that were too much for his tired body and John was placed on life support. Friday, July 7th his family gathered around him to say their final goodbyes.

We, John's friends, would like to honor his memory by raising money specifically for Meghan, Kelly and Erin's college funds.
