John Paul Trigg's Path to Recovery
Donation protected
On New Years Eve our dear friend John Paul Trigg had a major accident involving a firework malfunction. It exploded in the canister, shooting fire and debris into his face and arm. It left him with an extremely damaged right eye, fractured skull, and concussion.
John spent time at Stanford Hospital and after surgery they had determined the right eye had ruptured and due to the risk of hitting the optic nerve, it was inoperable. The best hope is that the eye will heal on it's own and he will regain some of his vision. The worst case is that the eye will not heal and need to be removed.
There are many unknowns, many more appointments, possibly more surgeries and physical therapy. At this time, the prognosis is unknow.
John is dealing with waves of excruciating pain, headaches, and has no vision out of his right eye at this time.
As many know, John does fine carpentry and is the sole provider to his wife, Katrina, six daughters and twin sons. John is unable to work to provide for his family, as lifting anything will put strain on his eye and because his skull needs to heal. John has always been a hard worker that has provided for his family and others. He is anxious to get back to work but cannot risk further injury at this time.
The Trigg family needs financial help to offset their cost of living and loss of income while John heals.
More importantly, the family and John need your prayers for recovery, patience, and strength.
Thank you for any support you can offer.
