John Paul Ross Accident Financial Assistance

Hello friends and family,

This has been one of the hardest things we have had to experience. On Tuesday evening (6/1) our beloved friend J.P. was struck by a car while riding his bike in New Jersey on his way home. He was rushed to ER trauma care unit and has been in the ICU for the last several days.

He experienced several broken ribs, a fractured cheekbone, and has also suffered injury to his brain with a severe concussion. Some internal bleeding was also discovered but has recently been sustained by the doctors. He will continue to be observed in the ICU and then from there he will be moved to rehabilitation.

We are setting up a go fund me in his honor to help assist with his financial situation while he is still on the mend and continues to heal. *We have confirmed with his employer that he is not currently covered by health insurance at this time.

He will need to be restored back to health over the course of the next several months. During this time he will not be able to work or perform his normal day to day functions. We have factored all of this in on his behalf and are wanting to move in the direction of helping to assist him with his medical expenses, monthly bills and rent along with any additional expenses that may arise. Considering these things we calculated the following as an estimation of his needs:

-The average New York/New Jersey hospital stay per day for 30 days according to google = 2,607$

-The average New York/New Jersey monthly living expenses according to google = 1,346

-6 months of rent while he will be out of work = 700$ per month

We appreciate you all so incredibly much and truly truly thank whosoever feels led to help with his financial aid and assistance. From the bottom of our hearts we thank you again as we know this will be a greater testament of the GOODNESS OF GOD in this time.

This challenge we know may seem like a wall we are up against, but it will no doubt prove to be a blessing and giving “GOD the GLORY” as we know this is the posture JP lives his life out day in and day out.
