On August 10th, our beloved John Papaloukas tragically passed away while traveling in Greece with his family. His sudden loss has left a deep hole in the hearts of his loved ones and the community, where John was known for his kindness, generosity, and dedicated support for others.

John was a loving, caring, and hardworking husband to his wife, Marvelee, and a devoted father to his two sons, Loukas and Alexander. He always put his family first, yet somehow managed to give so much of himself to his friends, neighbours, and the community. Whether it was lending a hand to someone in need, volunteering his time, or simply sharing a warm smile, John had a way of making every person feel valued and cared for.

Those who knew John will remember him as someone who could light up a room with his presence. He was always fun to be around, quick to share a laugh, and could put a smile on anyone’s face. His selflessness and care for everyone was truly unmatched.

We are reaching out to friends, family, and the community to help support Marvelee, Loukas, and Alexander during this incredibly difficult time. The funds raised will go toward getting John home from Greece. The expenses associated with getting him home can be quite costly, and time sensitive.
