John "PACO" Weners fight for recovery

Donation protected
On September 15th, John "Paco" Wener's motorcycle hydroplaned in Mexico. Paco tumbled over 200 yards. Even though he was wearing all his protective gear, including a helmet, he suffered a massive head injury and severe brain trauma. Paco has been in a vegetative state since the accident. While he has not responded to stimulus, we have seen signs of hopeful improvement. Paco remains hospitalized, and his immediate future will require constant care and assistance both in the hospital and at home.

Paco is a man full of life. He has been a friend and mentor to hundreds of other motorcycle riders. It is hard for all of us to see him in this condition, and he desperately needs our help. Paco will remain in Mexico at his home when he is released from the hospital and will be unable to work or produce any income to assist in providing for his needs. We are a group of long-distance motorcycle riders asking for your help and assistance in setting up a fund that will cover the cost of a full-time nurse and rehabilitation specialist while he gets back his cognitive and motor skills.

Please consider giving to help our good friend on his road to recovery.
