John S. Orozco's Widow Fund
Donation protected
Our father, John S. Orozco, unexpectedly passed away on November 19, 2016 after suffering a massive stroke. This tragic event came just 4 months after losing our sister, Salina. We have been overwhelmed by the prayers and love shown to us during our time of grief and are truly grateful.
Our family has pulled funds together for his cremation and memorial service, however, after assisting our mother with medical bills and debts left behind, we discovered that our dad's life insurance was discontinued earlier this year. In February, he underwent surgery to replace a heart valve and after doing so was required to wait a year before he could he could acquire new coverage. We were also notified that his retirement income would not be transferred to our mom and that it was terminated after his death. He was just 3 months away from not having to worry about our mom being taken care of financially. As of today, our mom is left with less than half of her income. She herself is disabled and unable to go back to work.
All his life our father was a generous and caring man. He invested himself in our community as a coach and mentor to many of us through sports, work and life. We have had requests and offers from friends and family to let us know if they could help in any way. If you are able to provide any support to honor our father John S. Orozco by helping our mom, who has endured more heartbreak than many could ever imagine these past few months, it would be so greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
