John O’Leary

Hi. I’m Amy, an old friend of John’s. We became friends through our boys, my son Sam and his son Joe. I have known the O’Learys for 18+ years. They are a family that has been through a lot. Recently, John was diagnosed with lung cancer. The cancer had spread and took his life quickly. John passed away Monday, May 1. The world is missing an angel here on earth. The stories about all the people, including me, John helped are endless. Now John needs help. He needs help helping his boys. They are young men having to navigate lots of legal stuff right now and could use some breathing room. Matt is moving and starting a new job. Joey is graduating from KU and starting a new job, so they need some immediate assistance. Anything can help and if John ever helped you, please repay the favor through his sons!! We will all

miss him so much.

Also, John wished to not have a funeral. Family is in talks of doing something like a celebration and we will announce it here if something is planned.
