John was out assisting me on a last minute request by taking photos for a project at Dumont Dunes.

In the process, his car got stuck in the sand. The area being remote, there is no cell service. It is also off season, so no other tourists or Rangers on site.

After attempting to free his vehicle, he was forced to walk to the nearest highway, approx. 3 miles.

The temperature was near 120º and it was 1 pm.  Needless to say, the trek was grueling and when he finally reached the highway, several cars did not stop as he attempted to flag someone down.

Finally someone did, and as he realized he finally had help, he collapsed.

He was transported to a Pahrump hospital where he was treated and told another 20 minutes and he would have died.

He was kept as Doctors treated 2nd degree burns from the pavement, hydrated him and attempted to fight kidney failure.

John was lucky and has since been released and is recovering.

The bills will start rolling in shortly and he does not have insurance or consistent  income.

My goal is to assist to cover the hospital bills and the costs incurred in the recovery of his car ( BIG thanks to Chad McCollough and Shawn Weatley).

There is no-one in our production family that doesn't understand the pressures our jobs put us under and the unbearable hours we work. We all go to extremes to please our clients and John exceeds that daily by always going that additional mile, and this is painful proof of that!

Let's help our family member out. No donation is  too small.
