On December 2, 2021, our beautiful son, brother, nephew, cousin and beloved friend of all was called home.

This GoFundMe is created by his mom and family to help pay for his final expenses and also establish a Youth Charity or Scholarship in his honor.

John loved hugely, and was an avid lover of everything outdoors. He found his greatest joy in introducing kids and teens of all ages to its depths, beauty and experiences. He opened their eyes and spirits to the freedom, exhilaration and peace that only the mountains can provide.

Our goal is to let John’s love and light continue to shine by giving kids and teens who would not otherwise be able, the experience of all the gifts, joy and happiness that the outdoors have to offer.
