Remembering John Nova Lomax

Hello, I'm John Lomax III, proud father of popular Houston-based Journalist John Nova Lomax. Nova has been in treatment for health problems related to alcohol. His main medical issues are now in the past, but he faces a long and painful path to recovery.

Even with excellent insurance he already has thousands due from "out-of-pocket"/deductible costs. Post-hospital, when his PT/OT rehab stint ends (usually about three weeks), he will need continued skilled care until he can resume normal activity.

The price tag for the care he needs starts at @$5,000/month upwards, depending on the level of care required, whether that care is home or facility-based and if additional medical help is needed. All of his post-rehab care is "private pay", hence this campaign.

We're starting with a goal of $30,000 to address the most immediate expenses, which can then be adjusted as the scope of the need becomes more clear. John Nova and I will be updating his situation, presenting samples of his work and telling you more about his background.
