John McStea End Of Life Care
Donation protected
My name is Mari-claire. I am lucky to call myself a friend of John McStea, aka Smiler/ Scott Driveways and other adopted names over the years.
John aged 60 was diagnosed with bladder cancer in November, and the tumour was due to be removed on the 4th of March; however, a sudden blackout on February 27th caused him to fall down the stairs and resulted in a visit to the hospital.
After undergoing several scans and other tests, they discovered that the cancer was aggressive and had spread through his body into his brain and bones, which sadly means treatment is not an option, and John won't have long to live. He is currently waiting to be moved to the hospice.
As you can imagine, this news came as a devastating shock, not only for John but for everyone who held a special place in their hearts for him. Every day is a struggle for him and his daughter, Ashley, who has never left his side.
If you had the pleasure of knowing John, you would know he was a non-stop workaholic who loved his job. He was constantly making people smile, be it through his work, his smile or his notorious fb posts.
He had spent the last year putting every penny of his hard-earned money toward starting up his own company ‘Scots Driveways’ which was starting to take off eventually.
At this time, he should be thinking about himself; however, he worries about leaving behind his daughter and sister without having all his affairs in order.
As friends, customers, or colleagues, however, you know John; we all know what a loving, generous, obliging life to the full type of guy he is with so much to give. Can I ask you to now help put the smile back on his face, by making a small donation, to help alleviate financial stress at this difficult time. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
