While John and our family focused on battling his cancer, John’s restaurant, Mamma Maria, was greatly impacted due to the crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. Mamma Maria is not only John’s life work, but also a beloved gathering place for so many of our friends and family.

As many of you know, John was a caring, generous and active member of his community, who would always give and do whatever he could to help anyone that needed it. As some of you have already noticed, all of the donations from the original GatheringUs memorial page were refunded due to a technical issue. In an attempt to re-collect what was lost, we started a GoFundMe page as a new, secure and simple way to try this again.
