John MacCarthy (Johnny Mac)

Friends,

As a friend and film colleague of John MacCarthy (Johnny Mac) I am writing this page on behalf of the family, to regretfully announce that Johnny passed away on Monday, Aug. 28, 2023. With his passing, his wife Melanie is now working on cleaning up his affairs, including multiple medical bills, and organizing a memorial service for him. As with these situations, funds are needed to close out accounts and pay for a Celebration of Life memorial. To help Melanie, and Johnny’s children Elle and Clint at this time, we are asking for help to raise $10,000 to cover these unexpected costs at this time.

As it is time of growing inflation and limited funds, any help that everyone can offer would be greatly appreciated. More information on his Celebration of Life memorial will be forthcoming.
