John M. Rouse was medevac’d to Seattle’s Swedish Hospital on January 12th, 2019. He was medevac’d after months of feeling ill and experiencing a loss of energy, rapid weight loss (40 pounds), and nausea/vomiting. After being medevac’d to Swedish Hospital, John was informed that Stage Four Pancreatic Cancer had invaded his body at a rapid pace.
John first began to notice his back pain, when he slipped out of his work truck at AML in February 2018. Throughout the year, the pain grew worse. Multiple tests (X-rays) were performed on John through Sitka Community and SEARHC, where they discovered that he also has a tumor/cyst on his spine. He was informed that if the tumor ruptured, then he could be paralyzed for the remainder of his life.
John was let go from his job with AML on December 14th, 2018, after driving truck for their company for the prior 6 years.
After each tragic hit that has struck John and his family, a constant stream of medical bills and expenses have been noticeably adding up. Without employment, the costly expenses of Stage Four Pancreatic Cancer are an extra burden in the back of his family’s mind.
For the family of John M. Rouse, we are asking for donations to help with the many and various medical, travel, cancer treatment expenses… any little bit will help with John’s expenses and will be truly appreciated! We also ask that you please keep our family in your prayers during this difficult and sensitive time. We would like to thank every one of you who have taken the time to share, read, and help with John’s circumstances! On behalf of our family, thank you very much from the bottom of our hearts!
