Hockey Community Mourns the Loss of Beloved Teammate, John Lord
In our hockey community, we lost a fellow teammate, a former marine, and an incredibly loving father & husband. John Lord, the founder of the Jabronies roller hockey team, passed away the day after Easter from a sudden heart attack. He was only 48. His widow, Dawne, is the nicest woman you could ever meet on AND off the rink. She works full time while raising their three children, one with special needs.
Dawne lost her true love, main provider for her family, father of her children, and lifelong teammate. Not only is she grieving the loss of John, but she is struggling financially.
