Help get John Lonergan elected onto Dublin City Council

Hi,

My name is John Lonergan and I am a Local Election Candidate for Ballymun-Finglas. I am 19 years old, and the youngest candidate in the Local Electoral Area.

I have lived in Finglas East my whole life and I went to Mother of Divine Grace Primary School and then St. Kevins College in Ballygall. I have been active in the community, being involved in the Willows Football Club for about 7 years.

I am the Labour Party's youngest candidate in the 2024 Local Elections and I am running because I want to highlight the issues that young people face: the lack of amenities like astros for sports, the lack of housing in the area and the waiting lists for healthcare.

Any donation that is given will be going towards leaflets as well as social media advertisements. Any support is highly appreciated.

Legal requirements:

I can only accept money from residents of Ireland or Irish citizens living abroad.

I cannot accept more than €1000 from the same person in the same calendar year.

I can't accept an anonymous donation of more than €100.

An address is needed for anyone donating over €100.

Donations from companies cannot exceed €250 in a calendar year. Unless your company has registered directly with SIPO.

If you're donation is not in line with these requirements while appreciated I cannot accept it. Such donations will be refunded.
