A very good friend of mine and her family were in a horrible car accident on New Years Eve. Their car had flipped and her husband John had been ejected from the vehicle. The children suffered from a few scrapes and bruises. They are home with their grandparents now. Leah has a broken neck and is expected to have surgery. She is also 17 weeks pregnant (baby is fine). John on the other hand is stable but in critical condition. Right now he is in a medical induced coma due to swelling on his brain. He also has 5 broken ribs and punctured lungs. And is expected to have surgery too.
