As a family we are amazed with the over abundance of support and love that John and his family have been receiving over the past few days. Many people have asked how to help so we decided to start a GoFundMe campaign to help his family with medical expenses. If you are able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for stopping by John’s CaringBridge website. We are using it to keep family and friends updated in one place. We appreciate your support and words of hope and encouragement. Thank you for visiting! We are surrounded by such an amazing village of family and friends, we are grateful beyond words.
As many of you know John has family history of heart concerns. For the last 17 years John’s pacemaker, then added difibulator, has kept his irregular rhythm issues in check. In May he started to have some Vfib episodes that caused his machine to be put to work and revive him back into rhythm. As the doctors started running tests and changing his meds, the episodes, unfortunately, did not stop.
His team of doctors are wonderful and the current prognosis is to get John a new heart. We are hoping the heart transplant will take place in Dallas at UT Southwestern.
We are in great hands and continue to pray and stay positive!
