Last Christmas, December 2019, I was able to see one of my oldest childhood friend, John Kim. He weighed roughly 210lbs but started having stomach problems. Since I’ve seen him last he hasn’t been able to hold any food down. He’s been in excruciating stomach pain since last December and after seeing the doctors they diagnosed him with Ulcerative you Colitis. He has seen numerous different doctors and every treatment they give him hasn’t been working. His body isn’t responding well to the treatments. A few days ago, he got sent to the Emergency Department because he lost so much weight his body couldn’t get the proper nutrients. He weighs 120lbs and is losing weight everyday.
The road to recovery for John will be long, but he is dedicated to continuing his journey and living a full life. John will never cease to be the brilliant, courageous, hardworking, and supportive man that he is. We simply need to be able to support him and his family through his tough times.
We are asking for your help to cover the costs of his medical bills as he transitions into a life that is different, but still his own. Your support will help the him, his family, and everyone of us that’s been lucky enough to know him. As he once raised his right hand to protect this Nation, I’m asking you to help him and his family meet their financial needs to cover the medical bills.
A little bit about John:
He’s been always willing to support his friends and family. If you talk to anyone that knows John, everyone would be able to say that he always brightens the mood and without fail makes everyone laugh. When he was younger he would volunteer as a Boy Scout. Before his illness set on he wanted to serve in the military and raised his right hand to help protect this Nation.
