John Jr. Washington
Donation protected
The friends and family of John Jr. Washington HUHO have started a GoFundMe fundraiser for him. He experienced a house fire on May 26, and was on life support at the Vancouver General Hospital until June 4 when his family decided it was time for him to be with Lord, and in a better place. John suffered brain damage primarily from smoke and carbon monoxide inhalation and required resuscitation at the scene.
John had just turned 24 and was studying International Business at Alexander College in Burnaby. This accident has come as a major shock to his family, most of whom are in Tanzania. The family has agonized with the decisions about end of life.
Funds are being raised to help support his family being able to travel to Vancouver, transportation of the body back to Tanzania and funeral and burial costs.
