Help John Jolly get his cancer operation!

Hi everyone,

Our friend and absolute unit in the dish pit have been diagnosed with lung cancer.

John is 65 years old and is one of the hardest-working individuals I know; John takes care of his cats and his girlfriend who has cerebral palsy and has no problems showing up to work every day on time- even though it often means walking or waiting on public transportation in inclement weather- and often staying well beyond his scheduled shift. Though he has perhaps the most thankless job in the lair, John is still always helpful and jumps in on other tasks anytime he's asked (and often when he isn't). John also does not ask anyone for anything- ever. He's the kind of man who will walk home in the rain after a 12-hour day rather than ask a coworker for a ride- and not complain about it- the kind of man who absolutely deserves a better lot in life.

Luckily, his doctors caught it early, so the operation has a good chance of helping him. For John to get this operation, however, he will need money to support him through his recovery.

John had made the decision NOT to proceed with the operation since it would leave him out of work for up to 12 weeks. This would mean he'd have maybe a year to live, all,, because he doesnt have the means to take time off from work. I hope we are able to change that for him.

I hope to raise enough money to help pay for any bills and expenses he may have during his recovery. Any donation no matter how small will help; all donations will be deposited straight into Johns account. I would like to thank everyone kind enough to support John through this.
