John "Jack" Jones

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our loved one, Coach Jack Jones. On September 8, Jack was diagnosed with metastatic pancreatic cancer. This shocking news quickly turned his and his wife, Carol's, world upside down. Jack kept a brave and positive outlook and was prepared to fight this in any way he could. On Tuesday, September 19, Jack arrived at the hospital expecting to start his first round of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, Jack did not get that opportunity and left this world for a better place yesterday evening, September 25. It is my hope that we can raise some funds to assist Carol with the funeral expenses and medical bills. Jack volunteered so much of his time coaching and mentoring our kids both on and off the ice, he participated numerous times in the One Mission Buzz Off for Kids with Cancer, and would give so generously to anyone that needed him. Let us honor Jack by helping Carol through this most difficult time. Carol greatly appreciates everyone's much needed continued love and prayers.
