John Henline, Jr.'s Road to Recovery

Hi from the Family of John ("Little John") Henline.

You may have heard that after a fall that resulted in a traumatic brain injury, John underwent an emergency hemicraniectomy at J. Ruby Hospital in Morgantown, WV. With his family around him, his recovery has been surprisingly rapid. His kids, Trey and Mikala, have stepped up and been amazing advocates for him. We are so proud of them. He has since been transferred to a rehabilitation center for further care.

Still, his journey back to his favorite activities will be a long one. From spending time with his children to riding his motorcycle, attending fundraisers, and returning to his passion for teaching, there are many milestones he hopes to achieve. With ongoing support and care, he is determined to reclaim his life and the things that bring him joy.

John will require round-the-clock assistance for the foreseeable future. His family is reaching out for help with the mounting medical expenses. We will continue to provide updates on John's progress, eagerly anticipating the day when we can hear his infectious laugh once again and enjoy the warmth of his dry sense of humor.
