Our dear friend, husband, father, grandfather, and community member John Harris has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. This news has been devastating and has without a doubt turned his life upside down! Those who know John know he's lived his life dedicated to his country, Gulf Coast community, friends, family, and others in times of need. Now he is the one in need. He's determined to fight this horrible diagnosis with everything he has. But we all know the truth! Cancer destroys in many ways. The financial burdens of its treatments themselves are overwhelming, and life's non-stop bills are unforgiving.

John has always been the type of person to give a helping hand, share a smile, and put others before himself. Now it’s our turn to be there for him. He has already had surgery and is starting chemotherapy and other ongoing treatments — all of which come with heavy medical expenses, travel costs, and lost income while he’s unable to work.
