John Hamill was a legend, gone too soon.We are devastated to share that John passed away on Tuesday, September 1.
To know John was to love him. He was an amazing husband, father, brother, son and friend loved by all. He was a genuinely great person full of compassion, kindness and with a truly wicked, incredible sense of humor. A decorated Vietnam War combat medic, journalist and screenwriter, John passed away Tuesday after contracting COVID-19. He was 71.
John was always positive and put his family first. John was a decorated, disabled war vet. His death was sudden and unexpected. It was never anticipated that a hospital stay for COVID would lead to a catastrophic pneumonia infection that progressed so quickly. Please consider helping out his loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in life without him.
