Hi! My name is Tess Nader and I’m raising funds for my dad, John Nader. John was on the island at his restaurant, the Great White Grill, when the storm hit. It is currently 9/30 and he is not off the island yet, but he is safe.
Due to parts of the bridge collapsing, there is no idea of when the island will be able to re-open for business owners/residents. This means that no business owners will be able to continue operations, assess damages, or continue to provide a job for their employees. This leaves many with no income while the island slowly recovers.
If you know my dad, John, you know he is always the first person to step in and help when the island needs it. He is always willing to go the extra mile to help his fellow islanders. As of 9/29, he is still on the island, making food for those who are still waiting to be rescued. Even in times of devastation, he wants to stay and help others. However this time, John needs help.
I know this is a hard time for everyone in SWFL, and there is no pressure to donate. Please share if you can. Funds will be used to help John and his employees get back on their feet.
