John Getty passed away on Saturday Sept 8th 2018 in Vancouver B.C, after a tremendously brave battle with Cancer. This Go Fund Me account is to help alleviate the costs associated with his passing and fulfill his wishes of travelling back to his hometown of Windsor Ontario to have his ashes scattered in a few of his favourite places. It would include crossing over the border into Detroit to pay homage to his favourite sports team the Detroit Lions. The funds will assist in alleviating any financial burden his wife Athena and 3 children Ashleigh, Matthew & Joanna will have to fullfill these wishes in the spring of 2019.
