John Fithian, a recently anointed Journeyman for Millwrights Local 1163 in New York State, unfortunately had tragedy strike with the loss of his first son during the birthing process.   John is the epitome of a "Union Guy", always willing to go above and beyond to help the local, the council and new apprentices in any way possible.   But due to this tragic event, John will be needing to take an extended period of time off, to not only to better himself but also his significant other.   Anyone who has met John knows that his uplifting and positive personality is not only a desire to have on the job site but also in the community.
