John Dudgeon: One Last Time

Last week my father was diagnosed with bile duct cancer. Unfortunately, it's terminal. We've been given anywhere between 3 to 8 months. 

My father was the vocalist and songwriter for 70's Canadian Rock Band Steel River.

I'm raising this money to give him the opportunity to record one last album.

Unfortunately, with both he and my mother out of work, money is getting tight with living expenses and what money he does have left is becoming less and less focused on his music.  The man has given and sacrificed so much for his family and friends and I want to see him have one last moment of creative expression while he still can.

I want him to sit at a Steinway piano. I want him to play a real B3 organ. I want him to sing through an LA2A compressor. I want the best for him because he deserves it. I want my brother Joel, my cousins Cody and Roy and all the musicians that he's inspired and touched over the years to get together and help him take one final bow.

I love you dad, you will always be my inspiration and my friend. Like a ten pound note, you'll always be in my songs.
