Hello Everyone,

We've created the John Duca Memorial Fund since the passing of our beloved colleague and friend, John Duca. John was an incredible husband, father, grandfather and 'FAHMily' member who will be deeply missed. In recent months, he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma which metastasized in his bones. In an effort to save his life, John was put on an intense regimen of chemotherapy which, tragically, his body couldn't handle, leading to kidney failure. He was put into a medically induced coma in an attempt to help his body recover, but God had other plans and he was called home.

Cancer is a disease that, when not defeated, can leave devastating circumstances behind for the families. If you have battled it yourself, have been there as a support system, or have been lucky enough to only witness it from afar, you should know that John's family is now experiencing one of the most difficult chapters in their lives. John was an amazing human being who embodied the epitome of kindness. He was a man with a heart of gold who would have given the shirt off his back for anyone. Working with John at First Alliance Home Mortgage was a pleasure and an honor for many.

Our goal in creating this fund is to express our gratitude for his kindness by paying it forward to his family. Every family deserves to put their loved ones to rest in peace without the financial stresses that follow their loss. We are asking everyone to come together and find it in your hearts to extend a little bit of financial support to John's family. Whenever there are people in need, there is an opportunity for kindness and to make a difference.
