On Friday, John, owner and lead arborist of Limbwalkers Tree Service, was involved in a serious work-related accident when he fell approximately 45 feet from a tree.
Those in the tree care industry understand the inherent risks of this work and the level of precision it demands. John has over 10 years of hands-on experience and is known for his careful, disciplined approach to every climb. It’s still unclear how he fell and why his gear didn’t protect him.
John sustained fractures to his L1 and L2 vertebrae and a severe left elbow injury, including a complex dislocation and fractures that required three surgeries and a steel implant. He is now focused on recovery, rehabilitation, and rebuilding strength.
John lives and works by a strong personal code rooted in integrity, responsibility, and perseverance. While asking for help does not come easily, this is a time when community matters. Funds raised will help cover medical expenses, recovery needs, and basic living costs while he is unable to work for at least 4 months.
We are deeply grateful for the continued prayers, support, and encouragement. With the strength and support of those around him, John will walk this road of healing one steady step at a time.
