Galatians 6:2 “Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ”
On November 2023, our beloved John Bejenaru received the heartbreaking news: he had prostate cancer. Since then, he has been at several doctor’s appointments to determine the severity of the situation. At this point, he knows that it is in his prostate and it has spread.
We all know, love and respect John. This man of God is a tall pillar of strength and kindness that lives within the hallways of CalvaryKids. He is a devoted husband, an incredible father and a faithful and humble servant of the Lord. He is a man with a huge heart that always puts the needs of others before his own. He oversees CalvaryKids Ft Lauderdale ensuring that every child that walks in through those doors receives the love of Jesus and feels protected and safe.
As a community of faith, we want to come alongside John and his family first and foremost with our petitions and prayers. We want to help lift up his arms to the Lord asking for healing and restoration. The start of 2024 has placed John on a new journey. A journey that has placed him seeking treatment in Texas. We all know this road will not be easy. It will entail huge medical and travel expenses and it take John away from what he loves most: his family and serving others. John, a great man of courage and strength, will be battling cancer. Let us partner with him in this journey by helping to care for him and his family. This initiative has been set up so we can support the Bejenaru family in their time of need by helping to lessen the financial burden this will be for the family. It is our turn now to show John and his family that he is not alone in this battle. This faithful servant is being lifting up by the body of Christ. Lets stand in the gap and show John how deeply he is loved and cared for.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God”
