John Bryan - Memorial Fund for Maureen & Lee

Hello,

My name is Marie Malloy and my oldest and dearest friend is the very beautiful person we all know, Maureen (Curry) Bryan. With a very heavy heart, I am reaching out to share that Johnny Lee Bryan of Greer, South Carolina, originally from Columbus, Ohio, has passed away suddenly, unexpectedly, and tragically, at the age of only 52 on Sunday, March 9. John was the treasured and beloved husband of Maureen and father to their amazing son Lee, the best brother, uncle, and friend anyone could hope to have. It’s unimaginable—the pain and suffering Maureen and Lee are experiencing.

John had a huge heart and positively impacted hundreds of lives and many communities all over the country through his work as a high-level catastrophe adjuster with State Auto Insurance Company, and most recently as an independent adjuster. Many of you may know, John was an active volunteer with Greer Community Ministries and always gave so generously of his time and talents.

I ask you today for your generosity, for John’s family. Please consider donating to this memorial fund to benefit Maureen and Lee who are unprepared for the devastating loss of their rock, who was also their sole financial provider.

Maureen and John very recently made a big life change. Maureen left her job at the Ministries to be a partner in John's business. The two of them were so excited for this and were making plans and dreaming of their future together. But the future has changed. Maureen will be looking for new work and, of course, the goal is for Lee to finish college. I know Maureen as well as anyone does - her heart is filled with compassion, which she acts upon in everything she does. I know Maureen would so carefully and gratefully use any donations you can offer, to continue into her new future.

It is in times of sadness and loss when people have the chance to come together to help one another, our friends and colleagues. Any support you may be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
