To the friends and family of John Braxton, many of you may know by now that John suffered a severe stroke early in the afternoon of April 10, 2021.  John is a business owner who started BRACE (Braxton Remodeling and Construction Enterprises) last year and has finally begun to see promise in his business endeavor.  However, as an entrepreneur and sole proprietor, the success of his business is heavily dependent on him.  John has a long road ahead and the extent of this traumatic event is still unknown.  Many have asked how they can help.  Our family is generally pretty private, but privacy won’t help John or his family.  As a result, I ask that in addition to your prayers, if you have the means and want to help support John and his family through the days of recovery ahead, please feel free to pledge.

John is currently in the ICU at HCA Pearland in Pearland, TX.  He is showing positive signs of improvement; completely off the ventilator and is able to move his body more and more.  He is now beginning to eat foods by mouth, with minimal assistance.  We are so thankful and encouraged by the improvements he has made but realize that his recovery may be extensive and arduous. 

I have established this GoFundMe campaign to raise money to help alleviate some of the stress and worry on his family.  All funds collected will be used to help with his increased medical liabilities incurred as he begins to heal.
