The life of John Branch changed in an instant on December 28, 2020. John is an alum of the Slidell Independent School District and on that fateful December day he was involved in a pedestrian-vehicle collision. John suffered many injuries; the most detrimental being the fact that John is now paralyzed from the waist down and the prognosis does not indicate he will regain use of his lower body. John’s immediate family, including a sister Teresa, and his mother and father have all passed. His only immediate family remaining is a brother, Claudio.
His father, mother and sister were lost in separate tragic incidents. When his friends heard of his accident a group was organized to help John through this time with prayers, calls, cards, and monetary support. If you are so inclined we encourage you to donate to this cause.
When the accident happened John was taken to John Peter Smith hospital in Fort Worth, Texas and he was in ICU on a vent. John has made progress to the step down floor and is off the vent. But especially at first, John will need the monetary support of friends and family to sustain his needs until he recovers and adapts to his new normal.
