John Berry

On September 11th 2020 , John was found unconscious and was treated at the Punta Mita hospital for a major stroke, leaving him with total left side paralysis in the ICU.
The morning of September 12th Dr's had to perform emergency intubation followed by 3 hour brain surgery to relieve pressure that had formed on the right side of his brain. 
What started as a conversation of a long journey of rehabilitation and logistics of care , unfortunately has turned into much more unknown challenges ahead and the reality of a longer first steps of recovery in Mexico.
The initial hospital bills in the last 3 days have already accumulated over 30,000.00 USD. With learning of insurance coverage and details the foreseeable future will no doubtably have a financial burden on Charles and family while they support John in fighting for his life and coming back to all of us who know and love him so dearly.
Any contribution is welcomed to assist John's recovery and rehabilitation.

Update: September 14th 8:00 PM 
John remained sedated after his brain surgery and the Dr's kept him comfortable overnight. Today he was stable. Charles spoke with the Surgeon this evening and was explained that there is continued swelling on the brain which is not decreasing as we initially had hoped. We will continue to pray for John and Charles and family while we wait for the surgeon to evaluate and provide further prognosis.

Update from Charles: September 17th
My words are tear filled and my heart the heaviest I will ever know. My heavenly love now watches over me until I join him. I hope you all know that this outpouring of love and support means everything.  Please hold John Berry’s smile, love and compassion in your heart and I pray one day the weight of this pain may diminish for us all. He is and always will be my One and Only.  I now live for all the things we dreamt of together and my new purpose is to keep Him alive in those dreams. 

May the sweet name of Jesus be my strength and may my Blessed Mary hold him in her arms and keep Him safe.  Know I will try to reach out to everyone soon because thru all of you his memory lives in me eternally. Thank you for the calls, texts , messages and financial support.  Thank you and know I can not love you more then i already  do.  May the light of John Berry live forever in our hearts.
