The mission and goal of our campaign is to Educate and Create Awareness through community clean ups by volunteers, why it's important to keep our beautiful cities of Puerto Vallarta,Mascota & Talpa  clean  for all residents, future generations and visitors.

                                                         ABOUT US

 Creator & Leader of the “War Against Trash” campaign is John Benus is a  volunteer & coordinating all aspects of the project. John is  from Fairfax, California, who lives several months a year in Mexico .He has coordinated  successful litter campaigns in  Puerto Vallarta,Talpa de Allende & Mascota. His passion to help create a cleaner and healthier environment began 20 years ago as an Adopt A Highway Team Leader in Marin County,California.
                                             
                                                     LOCAL SUPPORT / REFERENCES

The campaign has been endorsed by the municipal governments and has been supported by hundreds of volunteer in each community.

                                                      PHASES OF THE CAMPAIGN

Phase One.. To meet with all community leaders to get 15-20 volunteers per area  to do the actual cleanup. These volunteers will also hand out fliers that explain how and why we need to recycle plus have people sign and agree to the "Declaration of War Against Trash". That states: By sighing the Declaration ,I commit to not throw trash of any kind into our streets,rivers,beaches ,vacant lots or anywhere in Mexico.

Phase Two.. The production of Permanent Signage for streets, rivers, beaches and vacant lots plus decals or magnetic signs for taxis,buses,commercial vehicles and garbage trucks that say No Tire Basura - Recycle  "Keep Mexico Beautiful".

Phase Three.. Placement and production of Specially Designed Recycle Containers for residential neighborhoods and tourist areas that will designate in Espanol & English what items should be placed in each container.

Phase Four.. An Educational Campaign for youth & adults via social media and daily Pubic Service Announcements plus an Animated Video with birds,fish and animals telling us how we can help create a cleaner and healthier environment for them and us.
