John Bavaro, beloved son, brother, and friend, died suddenly on the morning of Tuesday, September 26, 2023. He leaves behind his young son, Jesse, who he loved more than anything in this world.

Donations will help to pay for some of John’s end-of-life costs; the rest will be placed in a college fund, in trust, for his beloved son Jesse.

John loved his friends and family deeply, gave of his time generously and his compassion, care and encouragement had a positive impact on the lives of so many people.

His family -- father Jerry, mother Barbara and sister Bevi -- thank you all for your support, friendship and love for John over the years. The outpouring of affection has been comforting to us all.

A funeral/memorial service will be held in Santa Barbara at a date to be announced soon. A celebration of life at Leadbetter Beach and a benefit concert in El Segundo are also being discussed.
