John Archambault Memorial Fund

John P. Archambault, 36, of East Longmeadow, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center. John was born in Bangor, Maine, on September 24, 1981, the son of Jean Archambault and the late Laura (Dowd) Archambault. John was a graduate of Central High School, Class of 1999. He also graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston. He was employed by the City of Chicopee as an Art teacher at Chicopee Comprehensive High School. John loved music, collecting classic vinyl records, and refurbishing and trading vintage audio equipment. John is survived by his beloved wife Alison (Montagna) Archambault of East Longmeadow, his adored son Rigby Archambault of East Longmeadow, his father Jean Archambault of Myrtle Beach, S.C., a sister Renee Marnell (Richard) of Whitman, MA., a mother-in-law Cathy Montagna of Springfield, his aunt and uncle Roy and Patrice Archambault, and four brothers-in-law and their spouses David Montagna (Kelly), Shawn Montagna (Ashley), Nicholas Montagna (Jennifer) and Daniel Montagna (Kathryn); along with an extended group of beloved family and friends. 

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the John Archambault Memorial Fund, which will then be transferred to the Rigby Archambault Scholarship Fund at TD Bank, which will be used for care & education for Rigby. 

Family and friends will gather and remember John on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 3p.m.-6p.m. at the Byron Keenan Funeral Home and Cremation Tribute Center, 1858 Allen Street, Springfield, MA, followed by a Life Celebration Service at 6p.m. Burial will be private. Please visit www.byronkeenan.com for further information.
