John and Pam La Madrid

Hello friend and family we are calling all those that can take a minute to help either by sharing or donating. My dad and his wife are struggling with life at the moment and could really use some help, here is their story...
Dec 2019 Pam was diagnosed with stage 4 Liver cancer and fatty liver. Kaiser Insurance of Oregon refused to even refer her for a transplant. Her diagnoses was dire and they had to make some extreme changes in order to save her life. They uprooted from Hillsboro, Or and moved to Sun City, AZ to be able to go to Mayo clinic where there were very willing to actually put her on the liver transplant list. It took 11 months, 5 calls from Mayo and 4 wrong livers later then on the 5th admission she did finally get the transplant on Nov 23, 2020. With that came many other complications due to the poor health of her liver for so long as well as the anti-rejection medication to keep her liver working in her body.
Update as of today (Feb 1, 2022)...
Most of you know Pam has had a successful liver transplant...She is going on 14 months post-op.
Mayo Clinic Liver Transplant team is very happy with her Liver…
BUT...Buttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt….
The Liver specialist warned us that her anti-rejection medicine for the Liver could cause Kidney problems… Yep, you got it!!! Her Kidney's became and still are infected. Pam’s body rejected and has an adverse reaction to the oral antibodies… The hospital has her on intravenous antibodies for now…
Pam has had a stroke… (a mild one she says)… which has effected her speech, equilibrium and ability to walk without help. She is in the Honor Rehabilitation Hospital therapy for 10 days to relearn how to walk, talk and be her spunky self again. Once released they are still looking at an additional eye surgery for a tumor behind the eye, more kidney clean out and repair as well as all the other complications this has caused.
With that all being said, John is no spring chicken (yes I, Koda, am writing this) and his physical well being is starting to be taxed. He needs some small medical procedures as well, but is unable to with all of Pam's care that is needed. They will need some additional medical assistance at the home to enable him to stay in good health and ensure she is well taken care of. Family is no longer close by and this has made it extremely hard on everyone and there is just no help, no relief, and no breaks.
This has taken a huge toll on us...Our spirits are holding up by His GRACE and MERCY...Our Faith, HOPE and Trust are Good! Our Souls Bodies and Finances are getting the crap kicked out of us.
They have a wonderful church family there and all you guys and your spheres of influence… We need all the help we can get right now. Pam and John would love for you all to say a prayer or a few for them…
