Hello. My name is Katie Miller and I am writing this GoFundMePage for two very good friends of mine whom are in need of financial help. Let me start with a short summary of this amazing couple.
Their names are Michelle and John Brinkers of Lake Wallenpaupack, Pa. They have been together for 15 yrs. and very happily married for 13. Between the both of them they share 7 children and 9 grandchildren and can always be seen laughing and making wonderful new memories with each and every one of them. Family is extremely important to them both.
On October 11, 2020 John had a heart attack and was flown to Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pa where he underwent a double bypass surgery. Thankfully the surgery was a success and he is now recovering in the hospital.
However, thru some tests that were run during and before the bypass it was discovered that John has some underlining issues that will need to be addressed as soon as he is strong enough to endure them. This will be imperative that more tests will have to be run and perhaps even more hospital stays. Which also means more bills for the couple.
John will not be able to go back to work for quite some time which means the medical bills will start to add up as well as the household bills and that in turn will mean more stress which John cannot afford to have on his recovering heart. John is the main provider in the family so this leads to a great deal of concern. We want to make Johns recovery all about that, getting stronger and healthier without having to worry about the bills and how they will be getting paid.
To the people that know and love this couple, John and Michelle can always be seen with friends and either playing and singing or listening to music much of the time, going out to delicious restaurants around the Lake Wallenpaupack area or simply hanging out with family and friends laughing and sharing special moments together. Michelle and John are such a loved couple and would do anything for anyone with no questions asked.
Today I would like to take this opportunity and perhaps try and help them in their hour of need. I would like to ask for any donations at all that you could provide to make things a little easier on Johns road to recovery.
