We are John and Lo, and we live in Ohio. We are reaching out for help with our family in the Philippines. As you may know, on 30 September, the Philippines endured a 6.9 magnitude earthquake. Unfortunately, this event hit the small provincial town where our family lives. We were not spared from Mother Nature’s wrath, and now we hope everyone can help.

Three families of 4 of our kids, an elderly sister, and 5 incredible grandchildren ranging from 3 years to 20 years live in the family home. This home was built by Lo’s father and has stood strong against many typhoons and other phenomena until now.

Currently, the family is living outdoors and is scared to even go into the house. We are asking for any help you can provide to give hope of being able to rebuild and return to their home by Christmas.

This life-changing event also sent our daughter into labor, and she had to deliver our newest granddaughter at 30 weeks. Your help will also assist in offsetting costs to help baby Jane Loleth through her time in the local NICU until she is strong enough to come home.
