As many reading this are already aware, John and Katie Palmer were victims of a terrible accident Tuesday morning; John is currently in the ICU at the Texoma Medical Center and, to the best of my knowledge, is expected to be discharged perhaps as early as this weekend.
Unfortunately, Katie was lost.
Of all the people who know John and Katie, who's life was made fuller by and through them, I am the least worthy to speak to you about my Friend and his Family.
When I spoke to John yesterday, the conversation ended with "I would rather have had sixteen years with her than a thousand years with anyone else. She never thought of herself, and always put others first. Now she's gone."
"It's all about the children now."
To that end, this GoFundMe has been created to honor Katie's memory, and to provide some measure of comfort for her Family, both in the immediacy of their grief, and for when then clouds of this incalculable loss finally lift.
From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your time and consideration in this matter.
Thank you all.
