John Aaron King was born on July 1, 1994, and he lived a purpose-filled 29 years, 7 months, and 10 days. He was a gift to this world, filling roles as son, grandson, nephew, brother, cousin, friend, soon to be uncle, and so much more.

Aaron was diagnosed with cancer on August 23, 2021. He spent every day full of faith in God's goodness and continued to pour out love and life to everyone around him. Cancer never defined him, changed what he believed, or diminished his joy. His last few weeks were spent at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE, and took his last breath on February 11, 2024.

Aaron's family wishes to express their gratitude for how loving, kind, and generous people have already been. They humbly accept any support that people wish to offer, as they have incurred various expenses including preparation & funeral service, loss of work, travel, and others. Most importantly, the family asks for prayer while they grieve the years they wish Aaron still had, and for pictures and stories about Aaron while they rejoice and celebrate the life he was given.

There will be a service to honor and celebrate Aaron's life on February 23, 2024, 6:00 p.m., at Charis Kingdom Church, 5425 Martindale Rd, Shawnee, KS 66218. All are welcome.
