John A. Sabu Memorial Scholarship Fund

John Aryappallil Sabu was a 15 year old student at George W. Hewlett High School who passed away in a tragic accident on September 6, 2019. He was a passionate history scholar, and was also a starter for the school's fencing team even as a freshman. He was hard working, high achieving, and performed a lot of community service in the local elementary school and in various hospitals. John enjoyed playing games online with his friends and classical music on the piano. John was well-liked by all who knew him and will be deeply missed by his loved ones. 

To honor his memory, we, his family and friends, wish to award an annual scholarship in his name for students who excel in history or fencing. We wish to leave a positive and lasting impact on the students of Hewlett High School. We truly appreciate any contributions to this fund.
