Hi, my name is Jamie, and I wanted to set up this page in memory of a wonderful colleague and all-round amazing person who passed away recently. This page has been created on behalf of his friends and colleagues at Wedo, but I hope that anyone who knew Johannes will recognise what we have to say about him. All funds raised will go to support his family.

I only worked with Johannes for nine months or so and never got to meet him in person, but we spoke by video almost every day - he was a very committed, knowledgeable and experienced Chief Information Security Officer for the business, but more importantly, he was a fine human being.

Johannes had a great story for every occasion, whether based on his time in the army or in one of his previous roles. He had a great turn of phrase (many of his sayings I already use) - I always loved "drop and roll" or "it's too late to wash the tomatoes after you cut them".

But most importantly, he knew what his priorities were in life and would end a call or cancel a meeting if there was any family engagement to get to - whether it was a fabulous trip to the Grand Prix or simply making supper for his family (his burgers sounded really amazing).

I'm sure that anyone who knew him will have been touched by his untimely death, and I hope we can raise a decent amount in his memory and support his family.

Johannes - JD - you were a really good man and will be sorely missed.

xx
