Hello I'm Ryan Riedlinger and this fund raiser is all about supporting one of my twin daughters Johanna  who is 6 years old.  Johanna was born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, HLHS.  Since her birth she has been hospitalized 7+ times.  Johanna  has already had several open heart surgeries and recently she was placed on the heart transplant list.  Currently she has been in the hospital for the last six weeks , and is  awaiting her heart transplant.  

Recently my wife Elizabeth  and I made the tough decision for Liz to stop working and stay at the hospital with Johanna plus be there for our other two daughters who are struggling with their sisters absence. We just can't bare for her not to have one of us close by.  This was a hard decision as Liz's income was extremely important for the family's needs. However, our girls physical and emotional needs had to be put first.  We are putting our faith in the hands of a higher power then our own that things will work out.  I will continue to work hard to provide financially for my family while Liz will work hard to provide the emotional support that the girls need while Johannas needs come first. 

Our expenses have gone up with travel daily to the hospital plus the cost of eating away from home.  We are praying for a little extra support to meet these needs.  I thank all of you in advance for your support with helping with the girls, prayers, and shares of this fundraiser so we can stay focused on Johanna and her sisters. 

Today it hit me and I'm in shock with the realization that someone  else out there is going to give our family the greatest gift by donating a heart of someone they love as much as I love Johanna so our daughter has a chance for a better life.  I'm truly humbled and forever grateful.
