Hoy acudimos a ustedes apelando a su buen corazón y solidaridad para ayudar a nuestra querida Johanna Salamanca, una estudiante internacional colombiana, que forma parte del equipo de YS Accounting y quien enfrenta el capítulo más desafiante de su vida. Johanna fue recientemente diagnosticada con cáncer de mama (evidencia médica: aqui ) y quien requiere además de su gran valentía un tratamiento médico integral de forma urgente.

Johanna, al igual que muchos de nosotros, vino en busca de sueños a este país lleno de oportunidades. Ahora, enfrenta una batalla contra el tiempo y un adversario que no conoce fronteras. La urgencia es real, y también lo es la necesidad de su tratamiento inmediato y completo que abarca quimioterapia, radioterapia y la posibilidad de una mastectomía con reconstrucción mamaria.

Aqui la carta del médico con el diagnóstico, que refleja la urgencia de la situación. También compartimos la primera cotización del hospital, que actualmente sólo abarca las quimioterapias. El hospital proporcionará las demás cotizaciones pronto y estas también serán adjuntadas pronto.

Johanna nos necesita, no solo como aliados, sino como pilares de apoyo para los desafíos más amplios que enfrenta: alquiler, comida y medicamentos esenciales. La carga financiera es abrumadora, y aquí es donde podemos marcar una diferencia significativa.

Dear Community,

Today, we reach out to you, appealing to your kindness and solidarity to help our dear Johanna Salamanca, an international student from Colombia and a valued member of the YS Accounting team. Johanna is facing the most challenging chapter of her life as she has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer (here medical evidence). In addition to her immense courage, she urgently requires comprehensive medical treatment.

Like many of us, Johanna came to this country in pursuit of dreams and opportunities. Now, she is in a race against time against an adversary that knows no borders. The urgency is real, and so is the need for immediate and complete treatment, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and the possibility of a mastectomy with breast reconstruction.

We have attached the doctor's letter with the diagnosis, reflecting the urgency of the situation. We also share the initial hospital quote, which currently only covers chemotherapy. The hospital will provide additional quotes soon, and these will also be shared promptly.

Johanna needs us, not only as allies but as pillars of support for the broader challenges she faces: rent, food, and essential medications. The financial burden is overwhelming, and this is where we can make a significant difference.
