Help Johanna Jimenez Pay Medical Bills

This is Johanna Jimenez. She is forty-two years old. She is married to Hugo Jimenez, he is also forty-two years old. She has two sons, Kevin Jimenez who is seventeen years old and Sebastian Jimenez who is fifteen years old. On January twenty-seventh at one thirty a.m. she was taken to the urgent care because she didn’t feel well. The doctors there took some tests and had her transferred to a hospital nearby. They did emergency surgery the next night, not even twenty four hours later. During surgery, they found that she had a tumor bigger than the size of a watermelon. It was attached to her appendix as well as some of her colon. So, after finding this during the surgery, the doctors proceeded to remove her appendix so they could get to the tumor. They also had to remove some of her colon. Two days after surgery she seemed to be having a complication and the doctors thought they may have to rush her back into another emergency surgery. They are going to moniter her closely over the next week to make sure they won’t need to do a second surgery. They sent the tumor to pathology to see if it was cancerous or benign. She and her family are waiting for those results. She had been to the hospital at least two times in the couple of months before and they told her that all she had was a stomach bug. If someone had just checked closer, they might’ve found it sooner. The family was told that if she would’ve come in any later that night, there was a good possibility she was going to pass away, imagine if they would’ve checked closer the first time instead of taking the risk of death. Surgerys and medications become very costly, especially when you have to stay at the hospital for so long and be on so many different medications.
